This piece, produced in 2002, has been
much reproduced photographically. It demanded exacting cutting and gluing in order to
achieve its elegant shape and, because of an error in anticipating
how gluing would proceed (plus the need for having many spare pieces), "Triumph"
and its many identical spare pieces spawned a total of six sculptures.
